Baby Goats Have Arrived!

On April 16th, our Alpine/Nubian mix doe, Becky-with-the-good-hair, kidded twin doelings sired by our Alpine buck, Anakin. Georgia and Maggie are happy and healthy. Mama Becky has plenty of milk and the twins are off to a great start.

Their pen-mate Leia seemed a little jealous at first. Sadly, our attempt to breed her failed miserably (who knew goat bucklings could fly?), but we will try again next season. For now, Leia is enjoying playing with her new friends all day. She seems to like them better than Becky who can be a little pushy.

We now have 2 bucks, 2 wethers, 2 does, and 2 doelings in our herd. Come to the farm to see the goats!
