​​Our Talk & Tours are perfect for schools, families, groups, clubs, scouts, churches, camps, daycares, & individuals. ​​​​​​

Talk & Tours - $15/person (children & adults)
 

Field Trip Rates​

  • Groups - $15/per person (children & adults)

  • Teachers - FREE (w/class)

  • Chaperones - 1 Free/10 students

  • Specials - Title 1 schools

Considerations

  • Outdoor agritourism venue

  • Covered pavilion for picnic lunch

  • Ample space for buses & RVs (day visit only)

  • Closed-toe shoes required for children

  • Hats & sunscreen recommended

  • Bug spray will be provided, please do not bring!

Animal Husbandry
& Care

Build confidence working with farm animals while learning proper care & responsibility.

  1. Farm safety, animal body language, & respectful handling

  2. Feed types, clean water systems, & pasture management

  3. Daily care routines: health checks, grooming, & maintenance

  4. Designing safe coops, pens, & predator-proof habitats

  5. Farm products: Egg collecting, milking, & processing

  6. Animal health, preventative care, & basic farm vet skills

  7. Protecting livestock, predator defense, & emergency care

  8. How livestock benefit regenerative farms & soil health

Plant Cultivation
& Agriculture

Learn how food grows from seed to harvest while caring for a productive garden.

  1. Garden safety, hand tools, & planning

  2. ​​Soil structure, microbes, & organic amendments

  3. Sewing seeds, seed saving, & germination

  4. Irrigation, mulching, & protecting young plants

  5. Plant ID, companion planting, & crop rotation

  6. Harvesting techniques for veggies, fruits, & herbs

  7. Food preservation, dehydration, & drying herbs

  8. Garden cleanup, winterizing, & cover cropping

Discover how plants are propagated, potted, & grown for production and landscapes.

  1. Nursery safety, basic tools, & plant identification

  2. Native Florida plants, edible plants, & their benefits

  4. Watering systems, feeding, & nursery stock care

  5. Propagation by cuttings, division, & cloning techniques

  6. Potting up, root pruning, & proper transplanting

  7. Hardening off & preparing plants for planting

Stewardship &
Sustainability

Explore natural ecosystems and sustainable practices that protect and restore our natural resources.

  1. Regenerative agriculture & environmental stewardship 

  2. Composting & building healthy soil

  3. Water conservation, rainwater catchment, & natural filtration

  4. Closing the loop: Waste reduction, upcycling, & farm resources

  5. Native plants, local pollinators, & beneficial wildlife habitats

  6. Utilizing natural resources, woodcrafting, & foraging

  7. Habitat restoration, invasive species control, & land use

  8. Stewardship & sustainability project

Homeschool Co-op Sessions will meet weekly for 8 weeks 
with make-up days for extreme weather events when possible.
